Learn about the myths surrounding the Creation Myth and learning who Gaea and Uranus are and who the Titans are.  You will be researching two Titan of your choice.   You will also comparing the deities and their myths from both pantheons.   You will be comparing:

  12. Hestia/Vesta
  13. Demeter/Ceres
  14. Persephone/Proserpina

This course expands on Greek and Roman Mythology 101.  We will look at minor deities and monsters in the myths surrounding The Creation of the World, the Titans, Mount Olympus and Man.   We will also be learning about Titanomachia, Autochthony and comparing two Flood Myths.

This course is designed to learn about some of architecture the Greek and Roman used in their temples and the different household deities. We will be taking a closer look at why they built the things they did and what deities they worshiped in their homes and why. You will be asked to chose a city for each culture and tell me about something special that was built and why, as well as exploring who the deities were. This course is part of the Greek and Roman Mythology series.
